...in the Thousand Islands of upstate New York
very time we go camping at one of our three favorite campgrounds each year or to a travel destination we've been to before, I always think I probably won't take many pictures and therefore won't have a Web page to make about the trip because it will be something you've seen before. And every time, I am wrong! There's always something new or different to be seen!
This time we went to Wellesley Island State Park like we try to each year at this time and instead of staying at our usual F loop with full hookup, we "roughed it" on our very own island/peninsula! I guess I can't really say we were alone because there were tons of chipmunks! It was great! Not only that but the nature center was full of life and so was the river. So without further ado, here are some photos from our last camping trip o' the season!
A view of our site from the beginning of the road leading onto the peninsula.Looking back down the drive we came in onView from the back side of the camper into a small bay.View from the front of the camperView from my chair! We had a bit of wind for a couple of the days...Chipmunks were EV-erywhere!The next few pics are views from the end of the island
