"JOE"
Aka: Joe-ziff
1989 - April 30, 2001
Joe was born in Oswego, New York somewhere around 1988-89 and came to us in 1991. He was also a wanderer when we took him in. We used to see him
just walking and walking, day after day when one day, we asked the neighborhood kids if they knew if he had a home. They told us that his former "family", decided to put him out because one of their children was allergic to him, (rather than try and find him a good home.)
Joe was basically a lay-around-the-house kind of cat, preferring sleep and food to almost anything else! Although, he was known to dart across the room for no apparent reason on occasion!
Joe was diagnosed with heart disease in January of 2001 and crossed the Rainbow Bridge on April 30, 2001, due to heart failure. He will be missed sorely, most of all by his best buddy, Synge.
A special thank you to Dr. Susan Demoy and all the great people at North Country Veterinary Clinic who helped in the treatment of Joe. He had the best care we could have asked for.
"Of all God's creatures, there is only one that cannot be made slave of the leash. That one is the cat. If man could be crossed with the cat it would improve the man, but it would deteriorate the cat."
~ Mark Twain
