"In former days, when hobos were common, they had a shared vocabulary of 'hobo signs'. They were chalked or scratched on pavements or fenceposts in front of houses, as advice to those who might follow. The smiling cat, above, meant 'Kind-Hearted Woman'.  I'd like to think I'm a kind-hearted woman; but I confess I was attracted to the sign because of the cat."

~ From Glenda Moore's web site

When we met we were just Herb & Lisa.  I was always a Snoopy "nut" and Herb became one soon after meeting me.  :)  He always liked Peanuts and Snoopy, though, and even made a Valentine box when he was in school in Michigan, in the shape of Snoopy on top of his doghouse.  So his Snoopy future was already forming at that early age.  My love of Snoopy started when I went to school and joined the Scholastic Book Club when we lived in England where my Dad was stationed in the Air Force.  I could tell my parents were disappointed when they saw that most of the books I wanted to order were Peanuts or Snoopy.  LOL.
When we met in Orlando, Florida, where he was a young Navy guy and I was working at K-Mart and going to college, it was love at second sight. :D  Herb's friend had asked me out and we sort of had to hang out as a trio for awhile. But Herb and I knew the spark was there and went out on our first date on December 6, 1981 and were married August 21, 1982.  The rest is Snoopynut history.
We are best friends, confidantes, and teammates.  We live out in the boonies of upstate New York, (some might say that's redundant), and love to spend time together doing the things we love like camping and skiing and sometimes just sitting on the couch with a dog or cat or three and doing the crossword puzzle.
On this page you will find all sorts of interesting nuggets of information about each of us with links to some of our favorite things like pictures of our collections, as well as links to some pictures of us together at various times in our relationship.
