Synge has been with us since the fall of 1994 when we came home and found him on the doorstep. He couldn't have been more than 4 or 5 weeks old, a very tiny little kitten. When we saw him from a distance, we thought he was a package the mailman had left. He was a very hungry little guy and would literally hang from the cabinet handles trying to get to his food while we were trying to feed him. And he hasn't stopped eating since. Like all our kitties, he has a bit of girth. Synge soon made a quick attachment to Joe and they were lifelong friends until Joe's death in April of 2001. He now hangs with Kristofur. We always thought he was a rather passive kitty until Stormy started picking on Joe and Joe couldn't defend himself, probably because of his heart disease. Synge would kick Stormy's butt. And still does if he needs to. ;)
