Aka: Mr. Innocent, Syngelico

October 9, 1994 - October 25, 2008 (Libra)

Synge was with us since the fall of 1994 when we came home and found him on the door step.  He couldn't have been more than 4 or 5 weeks old, a very tiny little kitten.  When we saw him from a distance, we thought he was a package the mailman had left.  He was a very hungry little guy and would literally hang from the cabinet handles trying to get to his food while we were trying to feed him.  And he never stopped eating after that!  Like all our kitties, he got to be a little tubby.  After we got him, Synge soon made a quick attachment to Joe and they were lifelong friends until Joe's death in April of 2001.  We always thought he was a rather passive kitty until Stormy started picking on Joe and Joe couldn't defend himself, probably because of his heart disease.  Synge would kick Stormy's butt.

Synge was about a year old here, snoozin' in the dog bed.

Synge passed away on October 25, 2008 from pancreatic cancer. As with all our little guys, he will be sorely missed.
